Patients diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) are likely to have many questions. This booklet supports patients by answering questions they may have regarding CCA, its diagnosis and management, and molecular profiling.

A poor nutritional status can negatively impact patient outcomes, including altered health-related quality of life, decreased survival and increased risk of complications.¹ This booklet helps to support the nutritional and dietary needs of patients who have recently been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma.

Genomic analysis of patients with cholangiocarcinoma has revealed genomic alterations with potential therapeutic implications in ~50% of patients.¹ This booklet helps patients to understand why and how molecular testing is performed and the role it may play in guiding treatment decisions. Example questions about molecular testing are included to prompt patients to think of questions that they may wish to ask their treatment team.

In this plain language video discussion, highlights from Incyte’s ESMO-GI 2022 symposium ‘CCA: It’s time for personalised medicine’ are discussed with focus on a patient audience.
